Payment Due Date Change
posted August 19, 2009 THIS NEWS ITEM HAS EXPIRED!Payment due dates for Home Equity Lines of Credit and Unsecured Lines of Credit are changing for some members. Payments will now be due the 28th of each month, effective September 28. This is to comply with the recently passed Consumer Protection Act, which requires a minimum of 21 days between the statement mailing date and the due date of the payment for revolving credit. Our Visa Credit Card must also provide the same time frame for payments; however, no changes are necessary because we have always provided 25 days notice.
